Snoring occurs when the muscles that hold your airway open relax and partially collapse, slightly obstructing the flow of air. This phenomenon causes a vibrating sound known as snoring.

If your condition is sever, the airways is closed completely, resulting in a more serious condition known as Obstructive Sleep Apnoea (OSA).

Not everyone who snores suffers from sleep apnoea, but if you have been heard to gasp for breath or have sudden spells of drowsiness during the day, you should seek a referral to a qualified specialist.

To make the appliance or plate, we will take records of your teeth and provide you with a custom-made plate to fit your mouth. This plate will be ready by your visit, and treatment can be claimed through Medicare.
