At your cleaning and dental check ups, our dental hygienist will work towards maintaining overall dental and oral health

During the visit, an oral assessment will be conducted, considering your dental history and overall health. This evaluation helps identify the condition of your gums, teeth, and mouth to prevent oral diseases. A thorough clean, scale, and polish will be performed to remove plaque, tartar, and some stains from your teeth. Additionally, fluoride treatment will be administered.

Preserving your general and dental health is of utmost importance to prevent tooth loss and gum disease. These conditions have been associated with various health issues, and tooth loss can impact your diet.

My role as hygienist/oral therapist is to coordinate the initial assessment of your oral health (teeth and gums) and most importantly the maintenance protocol that the specialist Dr Nalbandian will individually tailor for your requirements.

This is teamwork at its best. Not only when you come in to our practice as a regular patient, but also the first time you come in to see us.
